Temporary Soil Nail Walls
Temporary Soil Nail walls are typically used when site safety is needed during construction or the site constraints prohibit temporary excavation layback.
Temporary Micropile Shoring Walls
Temporary Micropile Shoring Walls are our most commonly utilized method of temporary shoring in Western Colorado today. Our temporary micropile wall systems enable vertical shoring to cut depths in excess of 20’ deep.
Permanent Soil Nail Walls
Permanent Soil Nail walls are typically used to reduce lateral earth pressures upon structures or to replace conventional cast-in-place concrete when construction costs become prohibitive.
Permanent Micropile Walls
Utilize larger diameter vertical or near vertical shoring elements when horizontal shoring techniques are not allowed.
Permanent Foundation Micropiles
B&Y’s permanent foundation micropiles utilize a skin-friction based pier system to accommodate foundation pier capacities ranging from 10-150 kips.
Post-Tensioned
Tie-Backs
B&Y installs either pre-designed or design-build Post-Tensioned earth retention systems. These systems usually consist of drilling holes deep into the earth, inserting and grouting cables and/or steel rods, and then pulling on those anchors until the designed lock-off loads have been achieved.

High Scale Rockfall Protection
